The IVMAA is initiating a new service to its members in the near future. Registry signs similar to the one depicted above will be available exclusively to members only.
The IVMAA's mission is to provide vegetation management industries, related agencies and the public with communication and educational opportunities in the area of industrial vegetation management.
The IVMAA endeavors to:
Provide oportunities through which members can collectively solve vegetation management problems
Encourage understanding, acceptance and compliance with proper vegetation management practices
Educate members, industries and special interest groups in proper vegetation management procedures
Set and monitor standards, both ethical and technological, for the industry
Make representation to the government regarding industry concerns
Provide a forum for environmental and other agencies to express their views on vegetation management practices
Recognize, through an awards program, accomplishments that significantly improve the environmental effects of vegetation management
Liaise with other Canadian vegetation management associations
